ATTARD. On Sunday, January 28, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, GIORGIA, of Balzan, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Charlie, Irene, Jennifer, Melania, Mary Rose, Sylvia, Aldo and Lorna and their spouses, her grandchildren, her sister Angela, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow, Wednesday, January 31, at 1.30pm for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment at Balzan cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of Ward St Joseph 7 and 9, at St Vincent de Paul Residence.
GRECH. On January 29, AUSTIN, aged 73, of Sliema, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Mona née Micallef, his children Michelle and her husband Ivan Overend, Robert and his wife Anita, his treasured grandchildren Rebecca, Nicholas and Luke, his sister Rose Gonzi, his brothers Tony and his wife Ida, Victor and his wife Anne, his sister-in-law Marisa and her husband Paul Spiteri, their respective families, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, Wednesday, January 31, at 1.30pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Lija Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
