MICALLEF. On January 18, at his residence in Iklin, JOHN (il-Gypsy), of Birkirkara, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rose, his brother Freddie and his wife Salvina, his sister Mary and her husband John, his in-laws and their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortége leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, January 22, at 8am for the Transfiguration parish church, Lija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MUSCAT. On January 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, TESSIE, née Schembri, of Fgura, aged 83, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Paul, her daughters Anna and her husband Martin Duca and Sylvana and her husband Malcolm Mifsud, her son Patrick and his wife Marita, her grandchildren Mark and his wife Bettina, Claire and her fiancé Karl Baldacchino, Lisa and Michael Grech, and Wayne, her sisters Rita and her husband Joe Galea of Melbourne, Australia, and Polly and her husband Peter Busuttil, Saviour Gové, widower of her sister Catherine, nephews and niece, other in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Saturday, January 20, at 1.30pm for Fgura parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
