CAUCHI. On January 9, ANTHONY, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his partner Rachel Borg, his son Colin and his wife Varsha and his beloved grandson Luca, his sisters Antoinette Giglio, widow of Dr John Giglio and Rosie, wife of Alfred Camilleri, all his nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends, together with Dr Christopher Barbara and Rebecca Hyzler and family. D’AMATO. On January 9, NINU of Żurrieq, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother Carmel and his wife Filippa, Maria, widow of his brother Michael Angel, his nephews and niece Joseph and his wife Deborah, Alex and his wife Leanne, Raymond, Joseph, Catherine and her husband Josie, Paul and Antoine and his wife Marisa. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Thursday, January 11, at 2.30pm for St Catherine’s parish church, Żurrieq, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Żurrieq cemetery. DeGAETANO. Suddenly, on January 8, Lt. Col. GERALD DeGAETANO, aged 53. He leaves to mourn his heartbreaking loss his beloved mother Cecilia and father Vincent, his loving brothers and sister, James and his wife Mariella, Michael and his wife Sarah and Corinne and her husband David Griscti, his precious nephews and nieces Amy, Nigel, Nicholas, Matthew, Daniel and Emma who loved and admired him so very much, his dear uncles and aunts, his many close cousins, other relatives, and many social, athletics, kayaking and outdoor activity friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.15pm for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GENOVESE. On January 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALPHONSE, aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Emanuela, his loving daughters Sharon and her husband Nicholas Ferris and Laura and her husband David Farrugia, his precious granddaughters Natalia and Giulia, his sister Carmen, his in-laws and their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Thursday, January 11, at 1.15pm for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. PACE. On January 11, NORMAN, aged 75, passed away peacefully after a very long illness borne with Christian fortitude. He leaves to mourn his very sad loss his sisters Mona Zammit, Rosanne and Victor Licari, Norman Grima, widower of his sister Kristine, Gloria Smith and Joe and Massie Vella, his sister-in-law Stephanie Pace, all his nieces and nephews, his carer Mary Schiavone, other relatives, and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, January 13 at 8.30am for Attard parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Albert, Annamaria and her husband Patrick Gatt, Nathalie and her husband Ray Borg, her adorable grandchildren Shaun, Krista and Neil, her brother Walter, her sister Louise, wife of Joe Cilia Vincenti and her sister-in-law Tanya, widow of her brother Joe Borg, other relatives and friends.
