AGIUS MUSCAT. On February 2, at Villa Messina, ANTHONY of St Julian’s, aged 86, passed away peacefully after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Vera, née Muscat Azzopardi, his children Anthide, Hugo and his wife Cecilia, Lucienne and her husband Stephen Cumbo, his grandchildren Matthew, Simon and his fiancée Rachel, Alessia, Karl and Maria, his brothers and in-laws, nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Villa Messina today, Saturday, February 3 at 1.30pm for the St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ħamrun, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. The family would like to thank the staff at Mater Dei Hospital, Karin Grech Hospital and Villa Messina, and many others, for all their loving care and support.
