ZERAFA. On April 12, at Karin Grech Hospital, DORIS, née Pullicino, residing in Attard, aged 95, passed to eternal life to reunite with her beloved husband George, surrounded by family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her adored children Josephine and Charles Grech, Carmen and Joe Mamo, Max, Mary, Joe and Lilian, Tessa and Martin Bonnici, Antida and Paul Savona. She is also survived by her treasured grandchildren Roseanne, Fr Jes, Chris, Jennifer, Denise, Claire, George, Gordon, Reuben, Lisa, Steve, Lara, Alexia, Sarah, Rudolph, Karl, Donaghan, Luke, Faye and Janis, their respective spouses and partners, great grandchildren, her brother-in-law Max and Elaine Zerafa, her sister-in-law Maria Pullicino, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, today, Saturday, April 14, at 1.30pm for Attard parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. Her family would like to thank consultants, doctors and staff at Mater Dei Hospital and Karin Grech Hospital for their care and dedication over the past weeks.

O, holy St Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and charity for His creatures made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble and anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore of you to obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the saint of miracles. O gentle and loving St Anthony, whose heart was ever so full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the sweet infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.
