The answers asked by the Nationalist Party regarding the close ties, and the alleged funding by the Gaddafi regime to the Labour Party, is anything but childish. Labour wants to be in government in two years’ time but its insistence on keeping mum regarding such serious allegations makes it unfit to govern.

These are serious allegations, and the people merit an honest reply by Joseph Muscat’s Labour. His reply that “the current (Labour) administration received no funding from the regime”, does not suffice. That does not exclude that pre-2008 it did and if that is the case the people have the right to know.
