Clickandboat.com is a collaborative online platform where all boat owners and operators can list their boat free of charge and offer their boat for rental when they want and at the price they decide. It’s a great and easy way to break even on their annual cost of ownership or even better, to make money out of their boat.

Another advantage is that in most cases the owners are the skippers of their own boat. If the owners are not available, Clickandboat can offer the services of professional skippers and this is added to the rentor’s costs.

With Clickandboat, any category of individual can find a boat in line with their budget and this directly from the owner or operator. On the Clickandboat online platform, people can rent a boat in four clicks on dedicated iOS and Google Play apps. Also, the rentor rates the owner and the owner rates the rentor – this establishes a trusted relationship and takes away the stress of wondering if the boat and service provided will be in accordance to the description provided by the owner.

According to local laws and regulations, each owner must obtain a commercial vessel certificate from Transport Malta and be VAT registered. Clickandboat will not accept any bookings unless proof that the owners have complied with such requirements and regulations is provided. In most cases, a day of rental will offset the cost of registration. As an additional service, Clickandboat will offer a turnkey package where the company will, on the customers’ behalf, register their boat with Transport Malta and this against a flat fee.
