Choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland will be showing live at the Eden Cinemas from the Royal Opera House.

Lewis Carroll’s beloved story has been transformed into an exquisite ballet which includes the same colourful and vivacious elements that are most loved by both children and adults in the original story.

Adding to that energetic feel, designs by Bob Crowley continue to bring the story to life as well as create a most magical land. Music written by Joby Talbot will transport the audience to an entertaining and enchanted world.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is a charming ballet and includes all of Carroll’s loveable characters, from the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit, to the Queen of Hearts, and of course, Alice.

These characters will light up the stage, bringing an element of fun and quirkiness with each captivating move.

Adding to the uniqueness of Wheeldon’s ballet, as well as giving the audience that real feel of the Royal Opera House, Eden Cinemas will enhance the experience through dimmed theatre lighting and amplified sound.

Alice’s adventures will be shown on a large screen, guaranteeing thrilling and wonderful sensations which make this ballet a truly magical performance.

Tickets are available at €23 for adults and €10 for children and teenagers under 16.

The ballet will be screened on March 28 at 8.15pm at the Eden Cinemas, St Julian’s.
