Safety and security group Alberta has appointed Antoine Portelli as group chief financial officer. In his new role, Mr Portelli will be working closely with the directors on the strategic development of the companies within the group while spearheading the group’s finance department.

Mr Portelli’s career spans 20 years of continuously expanding responsibility. A fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, he has previously held the role of senior internal auditor with Corinthia Group, group financial controller with Midi plc, and finance director with Smart City Malta.

Alberta Group directors said the appointment fell under a strategy to move Alberta to the next phase of its growth plan. “The combination of his expertise and track record as a successful finance professional together with hands-on commercial experience brings added value to the management structure of the company,” the directors said.
