Skiers will be able to reach European slopes even faster this winter as Lufthansa launches a helicopter service.

Rather than lengthy transfers by road, resorts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can be reached far more quickly.

Whether it’s Garmisch-Parten-kirchen, Zillertal, Kitzbühel, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental or other locations in the Alps, as long as there is a helipad on site, customers will be able to choose their own destination

The service from Lufthansa’s hub in Munich, southern Germany, will begin on January 1 until the end of April and places can already be booked.

In Munich, Lufthansa customers will be collected directly from their aircraft and looked after by Munich Airport’s VIP service.

The company HTM Helicopter Travel Munich GmbH will then take them to their desired holiday destination.

First class passengers can book this exclusive transfer with the service hotline +49 69 86 799 444, while business class passengers can call HTM at +49 89 21547172.

Alternatively, passengers can make a reservation by e-mailing lufthansa@helitravel.de.
