Air Malta has appointed Philip Micallef as its new CEO, succeeding Louis Giordimaina who stepped down earlier this month, just over eight months into his appointed.

Mr Micallef, who takes over officially on October 13, has just served as CEO of the Bermuda Communications Regulatory Authority. Over the past 30 years, he has occupied a number of management positions in public and private organisations in Malta and overseas.
