Air Malta scheduled flights to London Heathrow today have been severely affected by bad weather.

KM102 and KM103 have been cancelled and KM100 and KM101 retimed because Heathrow was required to reduce its operating schedule by 30 per cent due to the high probability of disruptions from snow.

Up to 15cm of snow, reduced visibility and freezing fog were forecast at the airport in west London, starting yesterday evening.

Air Malta said that KM100 should depart from Malta between 2 and 3 p.m. It advised passengers booked on this flight to be at Malta International Airport for check-in between 12.30 and 1 p.m.

KM101 will depart Heathrow at 6 p.m. UK time with check-in at 4 p.m.

The airline offered free rebooking to passengers booked on these flights to travel on alternative Air Malta flights to or from London.

Passengers can contact Air Malta’s International Call Centre on +356 2166 2211 (Malta) or 0906 103 0 012 (UK). Charges may apply.
