Britain’s quadruple gold-medal winning sailor Ben Ainslie (picture) yesterday said that he may yet carry on to the 2016 Rio Olympics after all. Ainslie, 35, had said after winning his fourth gold this month that he was finding the physical demands of the sport increasingly challenging. But as he prepares to take up a new challenge in the America’s Cup, he said that he was reconsidering his decision. He said: “The Olympics have been a huge part of my life and I’d like to be involved in the next Games.”
