The agent of Wolfsburg winger Kevin De Bruyne has dismissed reports linking his client with a move to Bayern Munich.

The former Chelsea player has been one of the inspirations behind Wolfsburg’s rise to second in the Bundesliga at the turn of the year, and his performances have reportedly caught Bayern’s eye.

His agent Patrick De Koster says there is no truth to the rumours Bayern are set to sign the Belgian, though, insisting he will be staying with Wolfsburg for many years to come.

“I never said there had been contact with Bayern,” De Koster said.

“There’s been no contact with Bayern at all.

“Kevin has played a great season with Wolfsburg and it’s only normal that other clubs are watching him, but nobody has spoken to me.

“I thank (director of sport) Klaus Allofs for giving Kevin the chance when he was not in a good situation with Chelsea and could not play.”
