Agenda Bookshop raised €1,000 for the Inspire Foundation by giving a new twist to Pharrell Williams’ hit song Happy.

Customers, employees and children garbed in animal costumes participated in the making of the video by dancing and singing to the Happy melody.

The video was posted on Agenda’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AgendaBookshop and €1 was donated for every like the post received. The video got almost 100,000 views, while the Facebook post got over 400 shares and 1,000 likes.

“This simple and fun music video really left its mark on all our staff and customers. We all joined in for a good cause and spent the rest of the day buzzing with positivity,” said Miller Distributors Ltd director Caroline Wirth.

Inspire is a non-profit organisation at the forefront of educational, therapeutic and leisure services offered to people with disability.

Released earlier this year, Happy made the charts as part of the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, as well as Williams’ album called G I R L.
