Local pop singer Adie’s recently released single Kiss and Tell Me Goodbye was composed by internationally-renowned Swedish songwriters Gosta Hulden and Jan Lochel from Sweden and New Yorker Charles Mason.

A mid-paced tune with a sing-a-long pop hook, the single reflects Adie’s ongoing efforts to seek a fresh approach to the way she presents her music.

This is evident as much in the breezy, summery sway of the song as it is in the eye-catching cartoon artwork – designed by Ivan Sciberras, who recently also designed the cover for Counting Crows’ latest album. It was born from an idea that Adie came up with to complement Kiss and Tell Me Goodbye’s catchy melody.

The new single was recorded and produced by Elton Zarb at Freetime Productions and mastered in America by Universal.

Premiered locally on XFM 100.2, the single’s prominent pop-meets-country looks set to hit the local airwaves with a bang.

“I believe the song has a lasting appeal because of its soothing and pleasant melody,” Adie commented.

“I’d like to think it will be one of those evergreens that will go on being requested and played on radio for a very long time.”

The song has also been sent to various international radio stations, further to which Adie has also been giving live radio interviews in Britain and the US.

Meanwhile, Adie’s video for previous single Cry For You is also picking up pace abroad, and thanks to WOA International is being aired on a music TV station in India.

Kiss and Tell Me Goodbye is being released online through Adie’s own Island Dreams Records on CD Baby, and is also available on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Spotify and other online digital distributors.
