AC Chievo Verona’s second summer camp in Malta will kick off on June 30 at the Luxol Stadium.

Youth development is an area of high importance at the Serie A club. From the senior squad to the Academy sides and the Chievo Verona Scuola Calcio, all the coaches share the same vision of nurturing the talents of young footballers.

In a statement, Cristian Cantarelli, manager of the Chievo Verona Scuola Calcio, said the aim of these summer camps is to promote the club’s youth philosophy to potential partners.

Around 100 clubs and nurseries in Italy are associated with Chievo.

The focus during the summer camp will be on the development age of every participant. Training sessions will be challenging but doable, ensuring that, at the end of the camp, the kids will improve their self-esteem.

The Chievo Verona Scuola Calcio coaches have been through a rigorous qualification and selection process to guarantee quality training and attention to every player taking part in the summer camp which is open to youngsters aged seven to 17.

Chievo, with the collaboration of Luxol Sports Club and the Lija Athletic Youth Nursery, will be running the camp in the morning and late afternoon.
