Farsons Lacto Milk Stout is a beer crafted according to the original 1946 recipe. A light-bodied, sweet, classic milk stout, its taste is creamy and smooth, with rich flavours suggesting dark chocolate and currants.
Farsons Lacto is best served at cellar temperature (12° to 14 °C) and makes the perfect marinade for stews, snails, shell fish and red meats. While it is also often used as an ingredient in the traditional Christmas pudding, it pairs perfectly with well-aged cheddar, and is the perfect accompaniment when ending a meal with desserts like chocolate espresso cake, cream puffs and profiteroles.
Farsons Lacto Milk Stout is available in 25cl returnable glass bottles in leading outlets across Malta and Gozo and has an alcohol content of 3.8 per cent ABV.
