Recently there has been talk of scams in connection with the announcement by Vitals Global Healthcare that it had signed a contract to transfer its shares to Steward Health Care, a US healthcare company.

Elsewhere, I have been taken to task about scams during the previous PN administrations. I think Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi had quite a lot on his plate to think about scams.

However, I think that the ‘mother of all scams’ was the pre-2013 election pledge by Joseph Muscat where he promised a clean and transparent administration, and quite a lot of other promises which, unfortunately, the majority of the Maltese voters swallowed  hook, line and sinker. That was a really good scam.
