We are a group of eight youths who are heading for a small town called Kakamega, in West Kenya, this month.

We have teamed up with Ġesu fil-Proxxmu and will be doing voluntary work for a month at a children’s orphanage, helping with any manual work while taking care of the orphans.

The needs of the children there are ever growing and also ever changing. Although we would really to love to take with us a lifetime supply of nappies, food, clothes, etc., this would not be very practical.

We are therefore making a public appeal for financial help.

The money we manage to raise will help the orphanage meet its expenses and help finance any future projects.

We implore readers to donate any amount and to encourage family members, friends and neighbours to read this letter and do the same.
