I totally agree with John Guillaumier and others that Christianity has lost a lot of ground and many believers have lost their faith. Values and ideals are things of the past. Humanity has become inert, selfish and materialistic. Intellectual development is the jettisoning of the Creator and Europe has achieved the epitome of such progress. And where is Europe now? The writing is on the wall for all to see.

Fashions come and go and denying a Creator is one such fashion.  But, as happened in the past, this godlessness would fade into obscurity and new generations with strong faith always come forward.

When the Church was encircled with malevolence, righteous people steered it away from the precipice.  The extraordinary phenomenon detractors seem to disregard is the fact that Christianity was founded on 11 frightened, illiterate, uneducated and worn-out fishermen. How is it that over a billion believe in the faith that Jesus established?

Although mysterious in his ways, God cannot go against His own nature. God is very simple but we tend to complicate Him. Christ’s simple message is to believe in His love and mercy.

Looking up at the night sky, one could either be filled with awe at the beautiful creation of the cosmos or, as sceptics, would say that this came about by pure accident or it created itself. For those who do not believe in an afterlife, how sad to consider that one’s life ends on the garbage heap and passes into oblivion. My pet-dog ended up this way and it was the saddest moment of my life.
