As part of its commitment to promote inclusion and participation of persons with disability, Aġenzija Sapport hosted, in conjunction with the support of CO-OP transport services, its annual summer barbecue for it services users and employees at SmartCity Malta.

The event was presided over by the Parliamentary Secretary for Rights of Persons with Disability and Active Ageing Justyne Caruana and attended by Aġenzija Sapport, CEO, Mauro Farrugia and services managers Adreana Sammut, Kristin Baldacchino and Elaine Galea.

As in previous years the event was highly entertaining with music provided by some of the most talented performers, musicians and singers, including Clayton Pace, X-Tend, id-Dulli, Andre Curmi and Jessica Magro.

The summer barbecue is an integral part of the Agency’s calendar of events which consists of various activities held in different venues throughout the year.

Aġenzija Sapport is a government agency which advocates and promotes inclusion for persons with disability. It operates 11 day centres within the community, 10 in Malta and one in Gozo.

The agency  also offers social work interventions, community based services, sign language interpretation services, while also offering residential homes catering for the needs of persons with intellectual disability.
