A new boys' secondary school at Taz-Zokrija in Mosta was inaugurated by the Prime Minister today.

The bright and spacious school - which should be the envy of all teachers and pupils - was built over an area of 14,000 square metres and features extensive sports facilities and laboratories, including a food laboratory - unusual for a boys' secondary school.

Education Minister Dolores Cristina said the school was built on time and on budget - in two years at a cost of €9.5 million.

The school started being used in September last year by some 750 students.
