Thanks to the generosity of Medserv and EORC Ltd, a group of 6pm employees strolled through the rundown streets of Valletta as though Santa's elves had come out to play! 6pmmers distributed Christmas parcels, hampers packed with Christmas day lunch essentials, toys and home-baked goods to the less fortunate and their children in an attempt to bring them festive cheer.

Earlier this month, Santa's elves had already been out and about delivering Christmas trees, decorations, lights, stockings and advent calendars to needy families with younger children.

After reading an article on The Times earlier this year about Il-Mandraġġ, 6pm contacted parish priest Fr Saviour Grima, who is currently trying to make people aware of poverty in this area.

6pm in Malta and UK have come together to provide a sum of money on a monthly basis to provide for the basic needs of a number of families. This has now been going on for the past six months.

In keeping with the Christmas spirit, 6pmmers have understood the importance of this cause and have decided to go a little bit further.

The intention this Christmas is to brighten up the homes of these people and have their children 'rocking around the Christmas tree', believing that Santa has really come to town.
