6PM and Palo Alto Networks will be hosting an event next Friday that will delve into the cyber underground.

The event will look at how Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) are being used to compromise organisations around the globe with increasing sophistication, persistence, and evasive attack methods.

The three-hour event will include an in-depth discussion on the best strategies for preventing advanced threats.

During the event, Ian Attard, lead information security specialist at Betclic Everest Group, will talk about the APT mechanics in detail from a hacker’s perspective.

Jose Muniz, senior systems engineer from Palo Alto Networks, will explain how the Palo Alto Networks Security Platform helps break the APT attack chain.

The event, being held at Xara Lodge, Rabat, at 9am, will be chaired by Brian Zarb Adami, 6PM’s chief technical officer, who will briefly introduce Palo Alto Networks and 6PM.
