6PM House, the corporate headquarters of IT and software solutions group 6PM, was inaugurated this morning by the prime minister.

6PPM employs over 140 persons in Malta, the UK and Macedonia. It provides  IT-based solutions and services which enable organisations and individuals to enhance efficiency, especially in the health care sector.

Dr Muscat said that this company personified the raison d’être of Maltese entrepreneurship and it had evolved in such a way as not only to penetrate the local and European market but also the global market. This was totally in line with the philosophy of the current government of looking to Europe and beyond.

He said the Government was currently in the process of making Malta more competitive through programmes which would be announced in the next few weeks.

he said the government would be working hand-in-hand with the private sector in the administration and management of health related services in the community.
