Around 60 students are interested in developing their business ideas further, Mcast principal and CEO Stephen Cachia said.
The college has embarked on a process to develop entrepreneurship as an important curricular element across all levels. It is currently strengthening this area through collaboration with various stakeholders. It signed an agreement with Malta Enterprise through which Mcast students are provided with space at the Kordin Business Incubation Centre (KBIC). These units are being made available to Mcast students with original ideas to start and develop a successful business. The college has also set up an Entrepreneurship Committee to manage projects and initiatives to support and develop entrepreneurship.
Mcast also recently received a donation from the GRTU to help with initiatives being taken by the college to develop and support entrepreneurship and innovation as key skills for its students.
