Since its inception the Permanent Commission Against Corruption has heard 424 cases, Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici told Leo Brincat (PL) in reply to a parliamentary question.

Of these, 164 cases were concluded with reports, 255 were archived and six were still pending.

Dr Mifsud Bonnici pointed out that the commission was tasked with considering and investigating alleged or suspected cases of corruption but not to decide on any case. When no enough evidence of corruption was produced, the commission closed a case and archived it.
