Intercomp now employs 27 staff members who have just acquired the City and Guilds award in customer service, having completed a course with Misco Consulting.

Misco started delivering the City and Guilds award in customer service programme since last September, registering a 100 per cent pass rate, with 98 per cent of participants receiving the highest achievement of First Class Pass.

The awards in customer service are designed to provide participants with the skills required to deliver efficient and reliable customer service. Throughout the course, participants gain an understanding of customer expectations and needs andare able to deal effectively withcustomer requests.

The training, delivered over a 15-hour programme, is a flexible course that Misco designs according to clients’ specific requirements. Intercomp employees attended two evening sessions a week between 5.30 and 7p.m., showing a high level of commitment after a full working day. Members of staff also worked on developing their skills to listen, help and meet the needs of customers.

It has really boosted the confidence of our employees and provided them with the skills to become more effective in their jobs, which is particularlyimportant in such difficult times when good customer service is vital.
