Francesco Totti has promised Roma fans he still has plenty to offer the club after reaching a personal milestone by scoring his 200th Serie A goal this afternoon.

For the second consecutive week, Roma's talismanic captain scored twice to help his team claim a battling 2-2 draw at Fiorentina.

"My 200 goals tell of a beautiful career and I have always wanted it to be with the same jersey," said the 34-year-old, who bagged both goals in last weekend's 2-0 triumph over Lazio.

"I always try to give my best for Roma.

"A month ago people thought I was finished but I always believed in myself and I have come out of this tunnel. I can still improve."

Totti's struggles earlier this season mirrored those of his club, with the prolonged sequence of poor form costing coach Claudio Ranieri his job last month.

The managerial change has revived Roma, and since appointing Vincenzo Montella as Ranieri's replacement the capital club have yet to taste defeat.

Totti added: "When things don't go well, it's obvious that the coach is the one to pay. But I always had a good rapport with Ranieri.

"With Montella, we have found results and especially my goals. We want to return to be in the top four and today we showed a great reaction.

"The important thing is to continue with this positive attitude."
