Lions Club Mdina recently celebrated its 19th charter anniversary with a gala dinner at the Casino Maltese, Valletta.

The dinner was attended by a good number of members and friends, who enjoyed the evening. Also present were Italian guests from Lions Club Roma Parco Nomentum, who are twinned with Lions Club Mdina, and Lions Club Siracusa Eurialo, who came to Malta to confirm the twinning agreement between the two clubs.

Short speeches were delivered by provisional zone chairperson Mary Anne Abela, Lions Club Mdina president Isabelle Coppini, Lions Club Siracusa Eurialo president Cesare Amato, and Lions Club Roma Parco Nomentum president Antonietta Argese, after which dinner was served in the lovely surroundings.

Lion Roberta Said was master of ceremonies. Singer Corazon entertained the guests.
