The Department of French and Agenda Publishers last week launched Le Commandeur dans sa famille, an 18th century manuscript of the National Library of Malta, edited, annotated and translated into English by Dr Carmen Depasquale, head of the Department of French.

The launch took place at the Aula Magna of the Old University Building in Valletta. The members of the panel were the Rector of the University of Malta as chairman, Professor Alain Blondy of the Université de Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV) and Dr Paul Xuereb, former librarian of the University of Malta.
