A total of 1,405 Romanians and Bulgarians have a job in Malta, whether full or part-time.

Education and Employment Minister Evarist Bartolo said in reply to a parliamentary question that 393 are in elementary occupations, 332 are professionals, 208 work in crafts, 186 are services and sales personnel and 120 are technicians. 68 are managers.

The others are employed as machine operators, assemblers, clerks and in agriculture.
