A €10,000 transport fund for this year has been launched by the University Students’ Council (KSU) and the Malta Public Transport.

The aim of the fund is to incentivise and strengthen the use of public transport as an alternative means of transport to and from university, reducing the use of private cars.

Students who agree to have their parking permit revoked for three months or do not currently hold a KSU parking permit and agree not to apply for one within the next three months are eligible to apply to have their tallinja card topped up with €10.50 every month for three months.

Students already in possession of a tallinja card can apply through the KSU website.
