  1. Start shopping now and avoid having to fight the crowds and jostle through the long queues.
  2. Play upbeat, fun and energetic Christmas music that always has a way to put you in the right joyful mood.
  3. Watch Christmas-themed movies.
  4. Make a list. Keep a pen and paper handy to write down all of your gift ideas. Always take the checklist with you when you go shopping, this way you’ll know exactly what you need to buy and you’ll be less likely to forget or buy something you don’t need.
  5. Decorate your office by placing a Christmas screensaver or even placing a poinsettia on your desk.
  6. Personalise handmade Christmas cards for your friends and family.
  7. Hang holiday wreaths on your front door.
  8. Host a Christmas party; take this season opportunity to catch up with old friends over a few snacks and warm cups of chestnuts in chocolate.
  9. Bring the season inside your home; this is the easiest way to get your whole house buzzing with the holiday spirit. Put up the tree, deck the halls, hang the stocking and bake some mince pies.
  10. Take time to reflect. If you’re in the middle of all the hustle and bustle just stop, take a few moments to reflect on the real reason for this season and make a promise to yourself to enjoy it for all it’s worth.
