10 Somali migrants who were granted humanitarian protection in Malta leave today for the Republic of Ireland.

The migrants - three families - are being seen off at the airport by Parliamentary Assistant Beppe Benech Adami and the Irish Ambassador, Jim Hennessy

Another 10 migrants, from Eritrea, moved to Ireland in December. 30 have left for Ireland since 2007

1,753 migrants have so far been relocated from Malta, of whom just over 1,000 went to the United States.
