Eleven Premier League players were given a one-match ban today by the MFA Disciplinary Board.

Birkirkara duo Jhonnattann and Ryan Scicluna, Naxxar Lions midfielder Andre Rocha Da Silva, Qormi winger Leighton Grech, Moises Avila Perez, the Rabat Ajax striker, Valletta's Ryan Fenech and Tarxien duo Steve Bonnici and Ronaille were disciplined for four yellow cards.

Steve Borg, the Valletta defender, and Ibok Edet, of Floriana,were  suspended after being sent off in their teams' last matches.

Vittoriosa Stars midfielder Filipe Aguiar was also suspended for one match following his red card in the 2-1 win over Qormi.

Valletta's assistant coach Gilbert Agius and Mark Vella, the Sliema Wanderers goalkeepers' coach, were suspended for one year for violent conduct.

Mr Agius was disciplined for confronting Naxxar Lions coach Winston Muscat during Valletta's 2-1 defeat to the Premier League newcomers last weekend. 

Mr Vella was banned until December 26, 2014 for pushing Tarxien Rainbows winger Karl Pulo during an altercation in Saturday's 0-0 draw between Sliema and Tarxien.
