€1,620 were raised from donations by people who tasted a giant figolla at Arkadia in Gozo on Easter Sunday.
The money was donated to Puttinu Cares.
The figolla, measuring one metre by 2.2 metres, in the shape of a lamb, was prepared by David’s Bakery on the initiative of Arkadia Marketing Ltd.
It was made of 70 kgs of pastry, 105 kgs of pure almonds, and 5 kgs of icing and decorations.
