An activity for people with disability was recently held with success at the Junior College, Msida.

For the third time at the college, 20 residents from Dar tal-Providenza, Dar il-Kaptan and the Adult Training Centre of St Martha in Gozo, together with the students, took part in the Share Your Heart painting activity.

All the student groups got together, participated and fully supported LAVA voluntary director Denis Calleja, who is part of the IT Services section of the University of Malta and works at the college. This was LAVA’s 21st event since it started organising activities in 2003 in Malta, Sicily and Slovenia.

IT Services staff from the University and Junior College supported the ferry transport of the Gozitan group from St Martha.

“It was a pleasure seeing students gathered for one aim – to share and get to know people whose aim is to enhance inclusion,” Mr Calleja said.
