Labour Leader Joseph Muscat urged children to read at least a book a week as he visited Book Box, the latest project inaugurated this week by the Qormi local council. The Book Box, at Ġnien Federico Maempel, a playground in the heart of the locality, looks like a British red telephone box but contains books children can borrow. Dr Muscat was welcomed by hundreds of Labour supporters and their children chanting Viva l-Labour, Joseph, Joseph and Labour’s electoral slogan Tagħna Lkoll. He posed for photos with children and mums, and signed Labour flags and his autobiography.
