The sum of €10,000 has been allocated for the restoration of notarial archives in Gozo that date back to 1640. John Micallef, a former court documents bookbinder, seen here with Gozo Minister Anton Refalo, is restoring the documents that provide a glimpse into Gozo’s social and economic history. The work kicked off last year and 122 volumes have been restored since.
