D-Code club grand opening this evening
The D-Code club in Gozo (previously known as the XS Club) opens its doors this evening featuring performances by Chasing Pandora, and top deejays in two separate areas.
The club has undergone a major transformation and can now also boast of a 30K sound system.
The venue has four bars, two cloak rooms, and a VIP area.
Other events will follow. Tomorrow will see Ruby and Friends: Hollywood.
The theme for tomorrow's event will be Hollywood/movie, so expect red carpet treatment as well as appropriately stunning visuals triggered by the Iron Sight VJ crew. There will also be two rooms at your disposal from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. featuring the slinky and moving tech-house/minimal sounds of exclusive Ruby & Friends deejays (as well as debutantes) Luc Adams and Duncan F, while DJ Ryan and Glenn Frantz will open up the main progressive/techno room nicely, paving the way for a four-hour journey set by DJ Ruby.
Another event, this time hosting international artistes, will take place On October 18. They are the producers of the world-wide hit single and this summer's anthem, Infinity 2008, the Guru Josh Project.
Their aim is to bring back the magic of the 1990s dance scene with fresh new sounds. They have been signed to Frankfurt's Big City Beats record label. Infinity 2008 is already smashing the German dance charts (DDC) hitting the top five within two weeks.
Other performing deejays include Miss Roberta , JJoy, DJ Terra, Dj Panzius , Conrad SK, Malcolm B and Gordon B.
