Sound
Debbie Scerri, Ivan Spiteri Lucas and Priscilla Psaila from Welcome to Hollywood.
The Spiteri Lucas family name has, in the past few years, become synonymous with top quality singalong musical shows - and they are at it again.
This month they are teaming up with Hermann Bonaci Productions to present
Welcome To Hollywood at the Catholic Institute in Floriana on April 19 at 7.30 p.m. and April 20 at 7 p.m.
As the title suggests the format will be a fast-moving, beautifully costumed show, featuring songs from the movies that range from film classics like The Wizard of Oz, plus musical numbers from Casablanca, The Sound of Music, The James Bond series, Singin' in the Rain, Oklahoma, Rocky, An Officer and a Gentleman, The Mask of Zorro, Armageddon, Pearl Harbour, Moulin Rouge and many more.
As always the artistes engaged are all among the best in their field and include Sandro Cassar, Debbie Scerri, J. Anvil, Nadine Axisa, Ludwig Galea, Priscilla Psaila, Ivan Spiteri Lucas, Christabelle Curmi, Julia Grima and Hermann Bonaci himself. They will be accompanied by a live seven-piece band under the direction of Mark Spiteri Lucas who is also responsible for all the musical arrangements.
Top dancer and choreographer Celane Buhagiar, plus her Dancel Studio Dance Troupe will also perform during the evening. Tickets can be obtained from the Catholic Institute booking office on 21 238 429. For more details visit www.spiterilucas.net
