Peugeot design competition names best entries

'Ego' was submitted by Emre Yazici of Turkey.

Public voting for the fifth Peugeot Design Competition at www.peugeot.com closed on September 15 with over 127,00 votes cast.

The Peugeot jury selected 10 projects for the final. They are 'Galapagos' by Igor Yastrebov (Romania), 21; 'Peugeot 888' by Oskar Johansen (Norway), 34; 'Rugir' by Onur Güvenc (Germany), 26; 'P.R.O.' by Ke Guo (China), 21; 'Oxo' by Lou Ke (China), 22; 'Ego' by Emre Yazici (Turkey), 45; 'RD' by Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar (Colombia), 25; 'Vision' by Shinji Numuki (Japan), 33; 'Mo Ville' by Woo-Ram Lee (France), 22; 'Seed by Peugeot' by Yann Terrer (France), 28.

This Thursday at the Paris Motor Show, Peugeot CEO Jean-Philippe Collin will present 'La Griffe' trophy and €10,000 to the winner. The winning project will be produced as a 1/1 scale model for the Shanghai Motor Show next spring.

The names of the other two finalists will soon be announced.

This Peugeot Design Competition has demonstrated the creative energy that fires designers of over 95 nationalities to submit more than 2,500 projects.
