The annual Malta Fireworks Festival organised by the Malta Tourism Authority ended in a blaze of colour at the Grand Harbour last night.

This was the 15th edition of the festival.

Last night's display was given by Pyroemotions of Italy in collaboration with the winners of last year’s edition Lourdes Fireworks Factory of Qrendi.

This year’s festival also included the pyro musical competition held in Marsaxlokk and Gozo.  

The winner of this year’s edition was St Mary Fireworks Factory of Għaxaq followed by St George’s Fireworks Factory of Qormi. Hojen and Magic Fyrvaerkeri Aps of Denmark was third.
