The Floriana health centre has been reopened after a patient vandalised the premises last night.

The police are investigating the case, a statement from the Health Ministry said this morning.

The centre was damaged by a 21-year-old man at 7.20pm.

The police said the Somali man, who damaged a number computers, was injured and was currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital.

A security guard was also slightly injured with broken glass.

An inquiry is being held.
