This season’s freshest pieces were showcased yesterday against the sporty background of Savio College’s gymnasium, which served as a catwalk for the fourth edition of The Pink Fashion Show, a Times of Malta event.
Some 30 models worked the catwalk, clad in this season’s must-haves, from clothing to sunglasses, jewellery and shoes.
A host of hairdressers and make-up artists created the fun, vibrant look. In keeping with the ambience, the hairstyle of the moment strayed away from neat, well-finished, plasticky styles. The catwalk make-up took its cues from the 1980s with bright, electric shades given a modern streak.
Models wore F&F, Guess, Ipanema, Karen Millen, Marks & Spencer, Miss Selfridge, Optika, Oysho, Punt Roma, River Island and Skagen. The brands presented a mix of the top trends of the season to suit all tastes, with a focus on block colours to make the outfits pop, plus a sporty touch.
The show was sponsored by Chemimart, Diet Kinnie, L’Extase by Nina Ricci, Magnum, Make-up Studio, Piscopo Gardens, Renault, Rummo and Screen Professional Hair Care.
