The Malta International Fireworks Festival, which started yesterday when thousands of people turned out to watch the spectacular pyro-musical competition continues on Thursday and Saturday.

Yesterday's displays were by Luqa's St Andrew’s Band Fireworks Factory Factory, Thailand Fireworks, Ghaxaq's St Mary Fireworks Factory, Qrendi's Lourdes Fireworks Factory and Italy's A.P.E. di Parente Romualdo. The crowd was also treated to a live concert by Maestro Paul Abela & Band.
