MULHOLLAND DRIVE

After a brutal car accident in Los Angeles, California, Rita is the sole survivor but suffers mass amnesia. Wandering into a stranger's apartment downtown, her story strangely intertwines with Betty Elms, a perky young woman in search of stardom. However, Betty is intrigued by Rita's situation and is willing to put aside her dreams to pursue this mystery. The two women soon discover that nothing is as it seems in the city of dreams.

RED EYE
Monday, Italia 1, 9.10 p.m.

Lisa is a trusted employee at a big hotel in Miami where a politician, Keefe, and his family are coming to stay. Jackson Ripner is hired to assassinate the whole Keefe family (because of a recent controversal comment Keefe made). For their plan to work, they need to switch the Keefe family from their usual room to a room that faces the sea. Then assassins will fire a missile from a boat at the room and kill the Keefe family.

They plan on threatening Lisa into pulling some strings and switching the rooms, but she had to fly to Houston to attend her grandmother's funeral.

On the return trip, Lisa is trapped on the plane next to Jackson, who tells her that she must call the hotel and convince them to switch the rooms or he will tell a hitman to kill her father.

TEARS OF THE SUN
Wednesday, Rete 4, 9.10 p.m.

Lieutenant A.K. Waters travels to war-torn central Africa to rescue Dr Lena Kendricks, a US citizen who runs a mission in the countryside. But when Lt. Waters arrives Dr Kendricks refuses to abandon the refugees under her care. She implores Waters to escort them on a dangerous trek through the dense jungle to the nearby border. During the journey the SEALs find themselves the unwitting guardians of a man sought by the rebel militia. This further endangers their already hazardous mission, but all the while strengthening Waters' resolve to protect Lena and the refugees, and to deliver them safely across the border.

THE UNTOUCHABLES

1920s prohibition Chicago is corrupt from the judges downward. So in going up against Al Capone, Treasury agent Eliot Ness picks just two policemen to help him and his accountant colleague. One is a sharp-shooting rookie, the other a seen-it-all beat man. The four of them are ready to battle Capone and his empire, but it could just be that guns are not the best way to get him.
