LIONS FOR LAMBS
drama

Two determined students at a West Coast University, Arian (Derek Luke) and Ernest (Michael Peña), follow the inspiration of their idealistic professor, Dr Malley (Robert Redford), and attempt to do something important with their lives.

But when the two make the bold decision to join the battle in Afghanistan, Dr Malley is both moved and distraught. As Arian and Ernest fight for survival in the field, they become the string that binds together two disparate stories on opposite sides of America.

Meanwhile, in Washington DC the charismatic Presidential hopeful, Senator Jasper Irving (Tom Cruise), is about to give a bombshell story to a probing TV journalist (Meryl Streep) that may affect Arian and Ernest's fates.

THE INVASION
thriller

The mysterious crash of a space shuttle leads to the terrifying discovery that there is something alien within the wreckage. Those who come in contact with it are changing in ominous and inexplicable ways. Soon Washington DC psychiatrist Carol Bennell (Nicole Kidman) and her friend, Dr Ben Driscoll (Daniel Craig), learn the shocking truth about the growing extraterrestrial epidemic: It attacks its victims while they sleep, leaving them physically unchanged but strangely unfeeling and inhuman. As the infection spreads, more and more people are altered and it becomes impossible to know who can be trusted. Now Carol's only hope is to stay awake long enough to find her young son, who may hold the key to stopping the devastating invasion.

ACROSS THE UNIVERSE
drama

A love story set against the backdrop of the 1960s amid the turbulent years of anti-war protest, mind exploration and rock 'n' roll, from the dockyards of Liverpool to the creative psychedelia of Greenwich Village, from the riot-torn streets of Detroit to the killing fields of Vietnam.

Star-crossed lovers, Jude (Jim Sturgess) and Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), along with a small group of friends and musicians, are swept up into the emerging anti-war and counterculture movements, with "Dr Robert" (Bono) and "Mr Kite" (Eddie Izzard) as their guides. Tumultuous forces outside their control ultimately tear the young lovers apart, forcing Jude and Lucy - against all odds - to find their own way back to each other.

DADDY DAY CAMP
comedy

This hilarious sequel to the smash hit Daddy Day Care finds dads Charlie Hinton and Phil Ryerson (Cuba Gooding Jr, Paul Rae) in another kid-harried adventure as they take over running a summer day camp.

Armed with no knowledge of the great outdoors, a dilapidated facility, and a motley group of campers, it doesn't take long before things get out of control. Up against threats of foreclosure and declining enrolment Charlie is forced to call on his estranged father, Col Buck Hinton (Richard Gant) to help bring the camp together and teach everyone about teamwork, perseverance and the power of forgiveness.
